Bousfields stocks a wide range of Old Guys Rule products, as well as various other brands of quality menswear. It has been around for over 100 years, being one of the oldest retailers in Western Australia. Since the very beginning they have taken measures that have slanted towards the customers rather than the profit margin- having only affordable quality products available, and a well established relationship with customers. At times people who were down on their luck would come into the shop, asking for money. Rather than give money, which might be wasted, Frank Bousfield or Laurie Haskell would take the person to a cafe in Market Street and buy them a meal. It is generous acts such as these that have earned the staff at Bousfields a reputation for kindness and consideration over the generations- the true Old Guys of us all.
